Ending the Homework Hassle
Understanding, Preventing, and Solving School Performance Problems

John says: “I was in private practice from 1980 to 1990, during which time most of my caseload consisted of kids who were performing well below ability in school and/or presented behavior problems in the classroom. More often than not, those went hand-in-hand. I eventually developed a prescriptive program that, when coordinated properly between a child’s parents and his/her teacher, seemed to work almost 100 percent of the time. When I started writing books, this one seemed a natural. It’s probably the most ‘prescriptive’ book I’ve ever written in that it contains that same program, step-by-step, that I developed during my private practice years. Don’t get the wrong impression, however: It’s by no means dry and academic. I had a good time writing it, which almost surely means people will enjoy reading it. The testament to this book’s usefulness lies in the fact that lots and lots and lots of schools, public and private and parochial, have bought numerous copies which they give to parents. In addition, lots and lots and lots of parents have told me that it probably saved their sanity. It’s about more than just homework, by the way. In the first third of the book, I outline what I think is the ONLY sane and sensible way to handle the issue of a child’s homework. From that point on, the subtitle, Understanding and Managing School Performance Problems, more accurately reflects the book’s content.”

smiley peteFor a small publishing company, with large amounts of content, wanting to make an impressive charge into cyberspace, without prior web-publishing experience, Linear Publishing delivered everything we needed, and even options we didn't know existed, in a quick and effective manner.

Linear's staff worked with us to make sure we had the site we wanted, and the software provided is easy and vast for continuous changes and improvements.

Within a month of launching, the results have already gone well beyond hopes and expectations. I recommend Linear Publishing as far as somebody is allowed to make a recommendation.
