In January, 2001, Bennett Taylor returned to Baker & Daniels as Counsel after seven years as Vice President and General Counsel of Eli Lilly and Company, followed by six years as Vice President and General Counsel of Guidant Corporation. While at Lilly, he served on the Executive Committee of the Legal Section of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers of America and is currently a member of the Association of General Counsel and a Trustee of the Food and Drug Law Institute. Prior to Lilly and Guidant, J.B. practiced law at Baker & Daniels from 1954 through 1987, concentrating on general corporate, litigation and tax matters.
