Fixed Frequency

The Linear Ad Control system allows you to enable "fixed frequency" for ads.

If enabled, you may select a fixed frequency for any type of ad (i.e. banner, jumbo, tombstone, etc.).

The Fixed Frequency feature is sensitive to an Ad Grouping. That is to say, if you have an Ad Grouping for Obituaries, the system will track when those ads are viewed and when a visitor returns to the Obituaries the system will resume showing ads based on the historic or stored values for that Ad Grouping.

With individual ads you do not need to select a fixed frequency. If no frequency is selected, the ad will rotate normally with other ads.

The fixed frequency is tied to a web visitors clicks within a particular Ad Grouping. For a particular ad, if you select a fixed frequency of "5" the ad will appear with each 5th click - no more and no less.

Combine Fixed Frequency with Ad Weighting, Scheduling, View Count, Click through Monitoring and Maximum Impressions - you have the powerful tools to meet the requirements of the most demanding ad campaign.
