Development Blog This blog will be used as a vehicle to keep interested parties abreast of changes to the Linear system. Using the RSS feed utility, we hope existing and potential clients will become more knowledgeable about our system. Launched September 21, 2005.
April 15, 2012 | 06:52 PM New controls over placing content in the right rails of the site. The content of the right rails is often dynamically controlled through the content of the page. For example, News stories might call right rail content specified by the News section. Here is a partial list of highlights to the Rail controls:
Increased Capacity: New controls allow content to call 28 targeted items in the right rails. Target areas include 12 "double-truck" slots and 16 standard rail items.
Elements Allowed! In addition to placing inclusions in the rails (see Inclusions), Elements can now be natively placed in the rails (see Call Elements).
Usage Reports: Simple click will inform you every where and inclusion or element is used within the site.
Uniform Control Panel: From countless places within Linear, a familiar control panel will open listing assigned items and allowing for inclusions/elements to be placed. Each assigned item will include links to preview the item, edit the item, change the item's placement within the rail, temporarily disable the item or delete the item assignment.
We hope these extensive controls will allow clients whatever flexibility they need to deliver the dynamic solution their web site's demand.

We have worked with Greg now for about ten years. I expect we'll continue for another ten. When I need help on one of our sites I pick up the phone and call Greg. He fixes it. It is about that simple.
