Development Blog This blog will be used as a vehicle to keep interested parties abreast of changes to the Linear system. Using the RSS feed utility, we hope existing and potential clients will become more knowledgeable about our system. Launched September 21, 2005.
April 14, 2012 | 01:46 PM SIte Tags allow content throughout the Linear system to be connected. Simply click on a tag name and Editorial, Letters, Calendar listings, Galleries - anything associated with the tag - will be listed.
We added some improvements to the Site Tag interface.
Management Only: individual tags can now be designated as "management only". These tags will not be visible to the public, but can be used internally for assembling content - especially with Call Elements.
RSS Feeds: individual tags can now be scheduled to produce RSS feeds. Great! An RSS feed with stories, blog entries, letters, photos and more.
Priority Update: individual tags can be marked as priority update items. When editorial content has this tag assigned or removed, any elements within the site with key values tied to the tag will immediately update. Normally, site elements tied to tags only update when Linear clients "Publish Changes" to the site.
Ad Grouping: You may now assign an ad group (see Ad Groupings) to a site tag. When site tag results are listed on the your web site, the assigned Ad Grouping will be used when populating ad spaces.
Results Header: You may now assign a header to a site tag which will appear atop the results page on your web site when tag content is listed.
SEO Tools: Site Tags may now declare a Page Name, meta Description and Keywords - all important for maximizing search results (i.e.Google, Yahoo, Bing) for your web site.

We have worked with Greg now for about ten years. I expect we'll continue for another ten. When I need help on one of our sites I pick up the phone and call Greg. He fixes it. It is about that simple.
