Development Blog This blog will be used as a vehicle to keep interested parties abreast of changes to the Linear system. Using the RSS feed utility, we hope existing and potential clients will become more knowledgeable about our system. Launched September 21, 2005.
September 11, 2011 | 11:03 PM We have configured Linear to accept as an alternative Facebook's commenting system. The controls for switching to Facebook commentsing are in Editorial Mgmt > Feedback > Defaults.
Our commenting system is great, but with Facebook you may be able to "leverage" the comments as they are also shared on the submitter's wall (at their option).
More and more, sites are using third party commenting. The moderation and authentication is a big plus. For example, most Linear clients employ a "Captcha" to first ascertain the submission is not spam. Often, comments do not go live until reviewed and approved by the site moderator.
The Facebook commenting allows our clients to moderate. By setting preferences, comments can be screened prior to posting. Also, objectionable phrases and words can be filtered.
Just another tool for making your Linear site work the way you want it to work.

We have worked with Greg now for about ten years. I expect we'll continue for another ten. When I need help on one of our sites I pick up the phone and call Greg. He fixes it. It is about that simple.
