Docks

September 11, 2011 | 06:58 PM

Added a feature where you can create small "Docks" for your Linear system.

Docks are groups of icons arranged either vertically or horizontally. When the mouse passes over or near the dock icons, the icons expand to their full size.

Typically, individual Dock items will link within your web site. Dock items can have labels enabled or disabled. Really easy to put together once you have the icons.

While the Dock feature is available to all clients, feel free to call your linear representative with assistance in placing the dock in/and around your web site.

Example: Below is a sample Dock. The actual icons are 72x72 pixels. The idle size is set to 30 pixels. Spacing between the icons is 2 pixels. Sensitivity set to 40.

smiley peteFor a small publishing company, with large amounts of content, wanting to make an impressive charge into cyberspace, without prior web-publishing experience, Linear Publishing delivered everything we needed, and even options we didn't know existed, in a quick and effective manner.

Linear's staff worked with us to make sure we had the site we wanted, and the software provided is easy and vast for continuous changes and improvements.

Within a month of launching, the results have already gone well beyond hopes and expectations. I recommend Linear Publishing as far as somebody is allowed to make a recommendation.
