January 25, 2011 | 11:18 AM Editorial rules are a tool for re-organizing your editorial each night. For example, if an item were in the editorial section "Breaking News" for more than two days, the system could automatically move the item to the News section.
We added the ability to base editorial rules on Site Tags (see Tags). Now the system can base rule results on Site Tag status. The results can also add and remove selected Site Tags.
Certainly this is an obscure function within Linear, but for the demanding client, Editorial Rules can perfrom important nightly functions for keeping your Web site content constantly up-to-date and changing.
We have worked with Greg now for about ten years. I expect we'll continue for another ten. When I need help on one of our sites I pick up the phone and call Greg. He fixes it. It is about that simple.
