Print Sale Management Improvements

July 28, 2010 | 12:26 PM

Linear Publishing was originally designed to help a newspaper manage calendar listings, contacts, print sales and distribution.

While most clients use Linear strictly for managing their Website,we continue to develop and support the "intranet" roots of our software.

Print Sales Comparison Report: Plug in two dates and the system will list print sales side-by-side highlighting which advertisers were different between the two dates.

Irregular Print Insertion Orders: Our Print Sales management system allows you to create multiple insertions for a sale. Usually, those insertions were consecutive dates. Now, you can choose exotic insertion schemes such as every other issue or every third issue. Of course, you can manually change the issue date for any insertion order.

smiley peteFor a small publishing company, with large amounts of content, wanting to make an impressive charge into cyberspace, without prior web-publishing experience, Linear Publishing delivered everything we needed, and even options we didn't know existed, in a quick and effective manner.

Linear's staff worked with us to make sure we had the site we wanted, and the software provided is easy and vast for continuous changes and improvements.

Within a month of launching, the results have already gone well beyond hopes and expectations. I recommend Linear Publishing as far as somebody is allowed to make a recommendation.
