CSS Negative Margins
December 01, 2009 | 01:48 PM

Incorporated negaitve margins into CSS containers. Allows for interesting treatments particularly with title bars. There may be some compatability issues with older browsers, but there isn't much we do about people's antiquated rigs.

Essentially, negative margins allow CSS contained information to extend outside their prescribed areas, The front page of this site features an upper right inclusion where the title bar "Recent Changes" is contained with a negative margin. The background image extends beyond the normal limits of the area. Can't see it? Get a modern browser.
