Document Manager

Document Manager allows Linear clients to create discrete areas for storing and sharing documents such as PDF, Excel and Word files.

Each Document Manager is a separate interface unto itself. A primary person (i.e. Manager) can create Users within a Document Manager. Each User is assigned a username and password. The Manager can then upload individual documents assigning the documents to users.

When a User logs in, they can only access documents assigned to them. Individual Users can be granted permissions for uploading, editing (i.e. title, notes) and deleting documents to their account.

So, you could have multiple Document Managers each with multiple Users. Great for clients who need a solution for storing and sharing documents with their clients. Also, you could use this interface for sharing ads with clients which they could review and approve.

The Document Manager was set up for a fictitious client, "Widgets Galore", and there are several users created within the Document Manager. The sample user, "Dr. Octopus", has been denied privileges to edit, upload and delete documents assigned to him.

corydonI've had a great experience with Linear Publishing. The system was easy to learn, and Greg and his staff are always available to answer any questions I may have.

Our readers are apparently liking the results, too, because our visits to the web site have tripled this year.
