Using CAPS, with almost no training or experience, you can create a "mini-Web site" for your local advertiser that is tied to your site. Tying the advertiser's mini-Web site to your Web site increases the likelihood that the advertiser's site will be seen by potential customers. It also eliminates the cost to the advertiser of maintaining a separate Web site.
From your standpoint, CAPS enables you to create the advertiser's Web site at a minimal cost and to turn control of that site over to the advertiser. CAPS permits an advertiser without any in-depth training or Internet skills to:
access its own Web site.
add Web pages within that site.
participate in your Web site directories.
create electronic coupons, interactive contests, bulletin boards, electronic guest books, chat rooms, maps to their business, and electronic classifieds.
You have the ability to charge the advertiser both for the cost of setting up the advertiser's mini-Web site (which is typically nominal) and for "hosting" that Web site on an ongoing basis. You control the access, content and pricing of all local ads, without intervention by the Web site host. Most importantly, all local advertising revenues you generate belong to you.
