Panel Ads

Click Here to re-visit the page employing "fixed" rotation for the Panel ads.

Panel ads appear can appear either across the top of the entire site or across the top of the "live area". These ads are only available in Linear sites which have been specifically configured to offer this type of ad. No charge, just call our office and we'll have panel ads configured in a few minutes.

Panel ads enjoy many of the features of our ad system including Scheduling, Rotation, Click through tracking, View Counting, Filling and Maximum Impressions.

Example: In this example (see the big ad above) there are two Panel ads scheduled to appear, but a page can only show 1 ad at a time - so the ads will rotate.

Open Frequency: After it's initial opening, the "Billboards" ad is scheduled to "re-open" after each third view. The "Giveaway Sweepstakes" ad will "re-open" every five views.

Overlay vs. Nestle: Normal treatment for this type of ad is to "Nestle" it in the page where the other content slides down for the ad. The "Overlay" function allows the Panel Ad to overlay the other page content - very intrusive, but the visitor must attend the ad. The "Billboards" ad uses the "nestle" mode while the "Giveaway Sweepstakes" ad is in "overlay" mode.

Rotation: All ads will rotate assuring that each ad is seen an equal number of times.

Other Points: Panel ads will always have a "control line" atop for opening and closing the ad. Each ad may define its control line content. The "Billboards" ad uses text in the control line while the "Giveaway Sweepstakes" ad uses two separate images - one for opening and one for closing the ad. Using control line images looks better, but its also a little more work on your graphic artist. Boo hoo.

appen newspapersWe have worked with Greg now for about ten years. I expect we'll continue for another ten. When I need help on one of our sites I pick up the phone and call Greg. He fixes it. It is about that simple.
