LeaderBoard Ads

Leaderboard ads can appear either on the top and/or bottom of your site. Further, Leaderboard ads can appear within the confines of your site (border, etc.) or outside the site. This type of ad is very large, and, if placed within the live area of your site, the ad would force all other content to be too wide. Hence, these ads must be placed at the top or bottom.

Leaderboard ads enjoy all the features of our ad system including Weighting, Fixed Frequency, Scheduling, Rotation, Click through tracking, View Counting, Filling, Live Rotation and Maximum Impressions.

Example: In this example (see the ads at the top and bottom of the site) there are six Leaderboard ads scheduled to appear, but the page is configured to only show 2 ads at a time - so the ads will rotate. Typically, you'll have more ads than space available.

Fixed Frequency: The "Kroger" ad has been configured to appear each 2nd click. With Fixed Frequency an ad will absolutely appear according to the frequency - no more and no less. Fixed Frequency does not determine where an ad will appear (see weighting below), only how often an ad will appear.

Weighting: The "Amtrack" ad has been given a weighting value of "1". It will always be placed atop the ads scheduled to appear. The ad will not appear more frequently - rather the ad will receive preferred placement when shown.

Weighting: The "Victoria Secrets" ad has been given a weighting value of "2". It will always be placed atop the ads scheduled to appear - unless another ad has a lower weighting. In this case , the "Victoria Secrets" ad will always appear top unless shown with the "Amtrack" ad.

Rotation: All ads not assigned to a Fixed Frequency will rotate assuring that each ad is seen an equal number of times.
